Are you having a bad day? Well good news for you, comedy films can lighten up your mood. Sit down, grab some snacks and soda, and pick on of these movies that will make you laugh.

It does not matter what movie suits you best, but I do have some recommendations! You probably even already watched most of them, but they are so rewatchable that you won’t mind.

This list will consist of all the movies to watch when you just want to laugh that I recommend.

Anchorman

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)

Why this movie?  Because 60% of the time, it works every time!

All joking aside, Anchorman is my favorite Will Ferell movie. It’s so absurd, stupid that it makes the movie hilarious.

The cast is insane, we have a group of four men: Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner. And there is more! A lot more! We get some impressive cameo’s from some beloved stars.

21 Jump Street

21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street

21 Jump Street was based on a TV series of the same name, which focussed on young undercover police officers investigating crimes in High Schools or other teenage venues.

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are surprisingly hilarious together. The franchise makes everything fun in its path. The jokes keep hitting you and are making you laugh all through.

I slightly preferred the sequel over the first one, but they’re both incredible.

Zoolander

Zoolander

Zoolander will either make you laugh your butt off or turn the tv off and never finishing it because it was so stupid.

It’s one of the dumbest movies I’ve seen. Fortunately, as someone who loves absurd humor, I was entertained by it.

Ben Stiller is directing and starring in this film. He’s outstanding as “Derek Zoolander,” a brainless model who has to compete against a newcomer Hansel (Owen Wilson.)

I still chuckle when I rewatch the “Center For Kids Who Can’t Read Good” scene.

Shazam!

Shazam!

I’ve noticed a lot of people are split on this one. I had a lot of fun watching this one.

First of all, Zachary Levi is incredible and very believable as a 14-year-old in a grown-up’s body. It’s like he was born to play this role.

This film also has a great story about family as Billy Batson is a foster kid who wants to be alone but is forced to join an adoptive family. They’ve done an excellent job of portraying the love and joy a foster family can bring to a kid.

It’s without a doubt one of the best DCEU films.

StepBrothers

Step Brothers

The premise is utterly ridiculous, two grown men ages 39 and 40, still jobless, still living with their parents with a childish mentality.

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are acting like they are still 10 year-olds, and that is what it makes it funny.

Step Brothers is full of ridiculous scenes, circumstances, and dialog. Ferrell and Reilly both play their characters to the hilt.

The bloopers are equally good, so don’t miss out on that!

Thor_ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok has taken a twist in Thor’s franchise. It became a more comedic film then it’s predecessors. The first two films were already funny, to begin with, but this one takes it to a new level.

I was not prepared for just how funny Thor: Ragnarok ended up being. Even Hulk is in this film and is adding to its experience.

There is also some fantastic score. You will hear the Led Zeppelin(s Immigrant Song during cool action scenes. And there are plenty of those scenes!

Thor: Ragnarok finally gives Thor the solo film he deserves, full of laughs and plenty of heart.

Deadpool

Deadpool

I never understood why this movie wasn’t greenlighted sooner. I always thought the premise of Deadpool was going to be great for the big screens.

Ryan Reynolds is gold as Deadpool. He’s hilarious and violent at the same time. Is there anyone who disliked this movie, because I don’t know anyone who did.

This movie has more balls than the other comic book movies. Deadpool has proven that Rater R movies can work if done correctly.

WhiteChicks

White Chicks

Everyone knows the iconic scene with Terry Crews in White Chicks. Yes, the one with the song “A Thousand Miles.”

This is the funniest movie of the Wayans Brothers. White Chicks is plane humor, dumb with a bit of a slapstick taste…

It’s pure entertainment. The “stupid” yet hilarious story and the great comedy will leave a smile on your face.
