No Vin Diesel

Back when I was a youngster, I felt the absence of Vin Diesel strongly in 2 Fast 2 Furious, as he and Paul Walker were a great team in the original film. It was also for that reason that I liked the first one more.

I wasn’t sure if I would like this movie when I saw it the first time, but Paul Walker was still great, as was Tyrese Gibson, who plays Roman. Now years later, I don’t have that miss of Vin Diesel anymore. The hilarious scenes with Tyrese Gibson do it for me. Along with that, you get to see more cool cars and street racing that are the highlights of this movie.

2 Fast 2 Furious brings back more of what we loved from the first movie with all the cars, girls, and action and multiplies it.

2 Fast 2 Furious has received a lot of criticism and I can understand why since the story is just weak and the acting is a bit bland at times. Still, I don’t care about that. I watch these Fast movies to be entertained and I was entertained with this movie. Even though it can’t match the original, it still excels in suspense. I mean how can things go wrong when you take the series to Miami where our eyes are blessed with dozens of beautiful beach girls. And the races in this film are also very exciting. The opening scene is top notch and then you have that one race for each other’s car to win. That one was blissful too. And let’s not forget the amazing chase scene in the movie as well.

Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson make a great team and show us why chemistry is enough to make an entertaining movie.

2 Fast 2 Furious is still fun, thanks to the great performances of Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson and their great chemistry. The fun and over-the-top action make this movie entertaining.
