Ancient Japan
This time the turtles are traveling back in time to Ancient Japan thanks to a mysterious scepter. I thought that was a cool idea, however, it all felt to be flat.
Also, some stuff was unnecessary, like they had to switch persons from time. When the Turtles travels in time, so does other men from Japan. In the end, it felt unnecessary. Yes, you can say that it was to bring Kenshin to the present, but this could have done differently again.
I always loved Japan, so seeing them dressed like samurais was pretty cool.

I was so disappointed
There are so many things wrong in the 3rd movie. It was a real stepdown from the previous movies. And let’s face it, the first movie is still worth gold!
For starters, their design was really weird. Even their teeth were uncomfortable. In the other movies, I had a better feeling about this. And Splinter was just awful. Here you could see it was clearly a doll. What a shame.
Turtle Mutant Ninja Turtles III felt like a cash grab. It was full of silly jokes. Yeah, there are in the other movies too, but this was a little too much.
And Casey Jones is back! I was happy to see him, but unfortunately, he was really wasted in this movie. They could have easily sent him back in time. But no, instead, he was babysitting the whole movie. Why are you doing this to us?
April’O Neil had a little more personality than the second movie. Although that wasn’t enough and still felt like she was in the way.
Conclusion
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III was a disappointment. In the future, I will only re-watch the first two films.
