If you thought Eddie Murphy was someone from the past … Then you are dead wrong! This is one of his best performances. The man, loved by many, does not standstill. I loved the way he portrayed Rudy Ray Moore. The way he walked, the way he entertained his crowd. His stage presence is astounding. All this while staying in his character, “Dolemite.”

I laughed many times during his stand up performance. The filthy jokes were funny and different. Even his costume with the crazy afro wig gave him the vibe he needed. He reinvented himself to become a successful comedian.

Make your dreams come true

The biggest lesson we can learn from this is to keep going for your goals. Dolemite is an excellent example of someone who believes in his own dream. He is willing to go the extra mile to achieve success. He even took an old building, “the Dunbar hotel” for filming his movie. A lot of people declined his acts or propositions, but every time he proved them wrong. He showed that he had some great value.
